I’m Brenda Chambliss a Realtor and a Foodie. I originally built South LA Online Directory as an online platform during Covid 19 to help connect local restaurants with locals in the community.

When the “stay in place” order began,  I saw how  small business and restaurants were being challenged to shift from face to face indoor service, to carry out & pickup.

Everyone had to pivot in the middle of the pandemic and keep moving forward.

People wondered if restaurants were still open so instead of getting in the car driving, many went online searching to find out. They wanted to know if they were open or closed, if they did takeout, delivery, dine in or dine out…

As we all know, COVID-19 changed our world overnight, but some things will never change and that is people will always need a place to live and food to eat.  That’s Real Estate and food.

I’m a Realtor, and I love and have lived in Los Angeles most of my life  and I too had to make a shift. Real Estate agents could no longer host Open Houses, showings had to be viewed virtually online, we couldn’t drive clients in our cars…and that’s when I decided to use my technology skills to make the shift and build Digital Real Estate.

South LA Online directory was designed to help bridge the gap from the offline world to the online web. As time went on I saw that all business could use an online platform to help give them more visibility, so come join me in spying out the land.
